Here is a scenario where we had 250 teams and only so much daylight. You make it Rally scoring (all points count) to start, single elimination, best of 3 games with a 30 minute limit per best of 3 games, until you get down to 8 teams. Then you transition into regulation cancellation scoring, single elimination, best of 3 games, 30 minute limit. The final 2 teams are cancellation scoring, single elimination, best of 3 games, but no time limit. For the losers, someone should have an optional single elimination consolation tourney set up on the side.
We finished in 4-5 hours with 250 teams. If you had less, then it'll go quicker.
