CONSTRUCTING:
On another forum I had found the following posts regarding child safe sets:
"We played with a set that was made with 1" PVC and instead of golf balls they used tennis balls. Safer for kids but the balls bounced around more. The set was about 5.5 feet tall with at least a foot between rungs. All the tennis balls were yellow but the rope was different colors."
"I made one just like the instuctions and works great. I used mini-tennis balls I found at PetCo. They are about the same size as a golf ball, but softer...This is a little safer for my 4-year-old."
"I've heard you can also use racquetballs instead of golf balls. You just use a long leather needle to pull the string/rope thru the balls."
