I played bolo ball once with tennis balls. Does anyone know how to attach tennis balls to rope?

Drill a small hole completely through. Thread the rope through and tie a knot larger than the hole on each end of the 2 holes. That's one way. another way is to make a small slit (or hole) in one side of the tennis ball. Then, take your rope, make a knot on one end and press it firmly through the hole. The larger the knot that can be pressed through the small slit (hole) the better it'll hold. Repeat this process for the other ball and other side of the rope. I took and drilled a hole thru both sides then pushed a piece of small copper tubing (gas line) thru the hole then put my line thru that and then removed the tubing and tied my knots. It is a few steps but worked real smooth.
